Skirts and underskirts were all built, including cartridge pleats, hem, and waistbands, and were worn over bum rolls and petticoats.

Rosaura’s swing cape was drafted to be able to convertible between “skirt” and cape. This was built from matching fabrics and was trimmed with brocade to match her gown skirt.

Handmaidens’ bodices were fit from mockup into final pattern. Final garment was built from coutil flatlined to brocade and printed velvet. They include five bones each in the center front panel, falling collars, and wide sleeve cuffs.
